Job Description:
Raptor is seeking a Civil Engineer w/ 2+ years of land development civil engineering experience to perform preparation of design and construction drawings as well as writing technical reports. This job may be full-time or contract, dependent upon candidate's qualifications.
The Project Engineer shall have professional experience and knowledge regarding land development engineering tasks on Commercial and Residential projects. Experience in Denver areas is preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from A.B.E.T. Accredited school
Intermediate-Expert level Civil3D skills
2-5 years of land development experience
Strong communication skills through e-mail and on phone calls
Transportation engineering experience
Wastewater engineering experience
Detention and water quality design experience
Drainage report experience
Skills in Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
Eagerness to think both creatively and technically
Detail-orientated
Remain agile and solutions-oriented in high pressure situations
Additional preferred, but not required qualifications:
Experience with Infill Residential and Commercial Projects
Experience with Land Surveying
Registered as an EIT or PE
Physical Requirements:
This job will require you to sit for an extended period of time at a computer workstation
Ability to travel to Raptor Home Office, job sites, and project meetings
Ability to work from home
